Trustee Board Announcement
To the members of the IBM Pension Plan and the IBM IT Solutions Pension Scheme
Dear Member,
I am writing to advise you of recent changes to the Board of Directors of the Trustee Company – IBM United Kingdom Pensions Trust Limited:
• Bob Bridges stepped down as Chairman and Director of the Trustee Company with effect from 31 October 2012.
• The Company, IBM United Kingdom Holdings Limited, are at an advanced stage in their process to appoint a new Independent Director, to replace Bob Bridges, to the Board of the Trustee Company. A further announcement will be made in due course.
• Robert Tickell, a Member Nominated Director, and David Kay, a Company Nominated Director, were appointed as Co-Chairman of the Trustee Company effective 14 December 2012.
Mr Bridges was first appointed as a Director on 26 April 2004, and as Chairman on 2 April 2012. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Trustee Directors and the members, to thank Mr Bridges for his contribution over this time.
