Notifying the Death of a Retiree

We understand that notifying the death of a close relative or friend is a difficult but necessary task. Not least of all, if the deceased was a retiree, there may be benefits payable to any beneficiaries and we will need lots of information about the personal circumstances of the deceased.

To ensure we capture as much of that information as possible, we have devised a questionnaire for completion; it may seem a little intrusive, for which we apologise, but it covers almost every piece of information that the Trustee may require at the Benefits Allocation Committee Meeting to make a decision about who to pay any benefits to. 

You will need to send in any relevant certificates and documents and the questionnaire will detail exactly what we require. When sending any certifcates, we suggest you use a secure method of posting offered by Royal Mail and we will return the certificates by the same service.
