Pension Increase History
Pension increases are awarded in April of each year and are the lower of the increase in the Retail Price Index (RPI) or 5%. The Government RPI figures that are used in the calculations are those recorded in the previous September; in September 2007, the RPI figure was negative at -1.4%.
