C Plan Supplement changes
The consultation process for the changes to the C Plan Supplement is now complete and there were no representations received from members.
There were two categories of members and letters have been sent to members to confirm that the C Plan Supplement will now be paid as set out in David Newman's earlier letters.
Copies of the letters issued on 23 February 2009 can be accessed by clicking on the relevant category.
- All active members
- Leavers after 1 December 2006
- Retirees who retired after 1 December 2006 aged over 60 but under age 63
These members have had a material change to how the C Plan Supplement is calculated and were part of the consultation process.
- Retirees who retired after 1 December 2006 aged between 50 and 60
These members were not involved in the consultation process; they would not have been entitled to a C Plan Supplement before 1 December 2006 but will now receive a C Plan Supplement calculated on the new basis.
