Sale of BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited
BlackRock PLC has announced that it has accepted an offer for BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited (BlackRock) from US fund management firm BlackRock.The sale is expected to complete within fourth quarter this year, although it is still subject to shareholder and regulatory approval.
The combination of BlackRock and BlackRock would create a firm with combined assets under management of $2.7 trillion and make it one of the world’s largest asset managers.
