Company pension proposals
I would like to advise you that the Trustee is aware of the pension proposals announced on Tuesday 7 July 2009 by IBM. The Trustee notes that there is a consultation process with employees and that this process will extend through to October 2009. The Trustee is reviewing these proposals and has entered into discussions with IBM. No agreement has been reached between IBM and the Trustee.
We are not aware of any proposals from IBM that affect existing retiree members.
