Dear Member Dr Brian Marks has resigned as a Trustee Director. Brian has put a great deal of time, thought and energy into being a Member Elected Director and more recently a Member Nominated Director and I am sorry that he has resigned. The Trustee has benefited from the diligent manner in which Brian has prepared for Trustee meetings, his subject matter expertise and his commitment to the role. On behalf of all the Directors I would like to thank him publicly for his contribution to the work of the Trustee. At its meeting on 22 October 2009 the Trustee, in line with the procedure agreed in 2007, will begin the process to appoint a replacement.
