Instructions for placing the database on your workstation

Before you start, check you don’t already have the application on your Lotus Notes workspace, the icon looks like this:

 

What is the database for?

You can use the database to start, amend or stop AVCs. 

NB: ASCs and Matched Contributions can only be elected through your annual You* elections.

Who can use the online facility

M Plan, Enhanced M, Hybrid M and I Plan members

Who can’t use the online facility

  • GPP plan members 
  • Lotus members 
  • IBM (UK) PPP members

OK - ready to go

To create a link to the database from your Lotus Notes, you need to follow these simple instructions:

  1. In Lotus Notes choose : File - Open - Lotus Notes Application (shortcut CTRL+O)
  2. Enter 'D06DBL021/06/A/IBM' where it asks for the server and click 'open'.
  3. Scroll down the list of databases and select 'p_dir' and click 'open'.
  4. Scroll down to Pensions UK in the list and click 'open'.
  5. The database will now be opened and the icon added to your workspace

 Please don't replicate this database as this will cause problems to you and other users.
