Early Retirement - Protected Pension Ages
The Company will shortly be announcing an Early Retirement Policy which clarifies the terms for early retirement for the various IBM pension plans; how to apply for early retirement and, if Company consent for early retirement is required, the factors that the Company may consider before consent is granted.
The policy document will only be available to current employees.
HR have produced a 'Protected Pension Ages' document which is available for download below. This document provides details of the minimum age at which a member can start to draw their pension following HMRC confirmation that previous guidance on Protected Pension Ages was incorrect.
