Deferred Members

If you have left IBM's employment but have not transferred your IBM pension benefits to another registered pension scheme, you are a 'deferred member' of the IBM pension plans.  You have the right to transfer your pension benefits out of IBM at any time.

What happens to your pension benefits after you have left IBM and what you can do with them depends on the pension plan that you were a member of.
